Champagne GRAND CRU MILLÉSIMÉ 2013
Blend : 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay
Dosage : 7 gr/l
Villages : Mailly-en-Champagne, Verzy, Verzenay, Villers-Marmery, Ay, Avize, and Mesnil sur Oger.
Visually : a pale gold color with white / crystalline highlights and green hues. Dynamic effervescence and animated by very fine bubbles that feed a small cord. A calm, serene and measured visual.
Nose : At the first nose we discover a good intensity, primary and secondary aromas. Aromas of almonds and fresh hazelnuts. The second nose has aromas of blond tobacco and white flowers. There are smoky and mineral notes. Nice complex nose on youth.
Mouth : Good intensity, the attack is round with a mark of acidity that prolongs the mouth.
The finish is balanced on a slightly acidic sensation. Creamy texture where we find a lot of freshness with aromas of apples and fresh hazelnuts. The finale is on a granny smith apple.
This Champagne is at the dawn of its fullness. We like the freshness and vivacity of the wine. We will appreciate its complexity and its length in 3 to 5 years.
